ABOUT MAVIS PITTILLA AND HER LEGACY
Mavis Pittilla was a luminary in the world of spiritualism and mediumship and left an indelible mark on the field of spiritual communication.
Born in the UK, she found herself grappling with a life-threatening condition and was given only months to live at the age of 27. During this uncertain time, the spirit world revealed itself to her.
A man appeared in her living room urging her to “go find a healer,” his message as enigmatic as his presence. The encounter was so vivid and undeniably real that Mavis questioned her sanity.
It was an experience that would’ve shaken anyone to their core. Yet, for Mavis, the encounter opened a door for her — one she couldn’t close, even if she had wanted to.
It was as if the trauma of her diagnosis had punched a hole in the fabric of her reality, creating a portal to the spirit world. The spirit world then became her ever-present reality.
In retrospect, it’s clear this profound disruption in Mavis’ life was a catalyst. It marked the start of her transformative journey — one that led her to healing herself, and to her lifelong mission of serving as a bridge between the physical world and the spirit realm.
She went on to provide countless sittings, group sessions, lectures, and classes. Perhaps one of her most significant contributions was at the esteemed Arthur Findlay College, where she served as senior tutor and a beacon of light for many years.
Alongside Jean, Mavis dedicated the rest of her life to training many new mediums. Their shared vision was to guide students to become the “whole medium,” as opposed to teaching them only the mechanics of mediumship.
Each student’s unique life experiences, external influences, and physical and spiritual natures were taken into account as they were individually mentored.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Students Share About The Evidential Mediumship Academy — Essentials Training
This year-long program is structured like academic quarters. There are three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) consisting of unit-specific classes and mentorship circles, with each cycle spanning three months. After the conclusion of Parts I and II, each student will participate for one month in a concentrated practicum on the learning cycle just completed.
After the conclusion of Part III, each student will write an essay that captures their personal reflections on their transformational journey through the program.
About Mentorship Circles
Mentorship Circles, a distinctive feature of this mediumship program, are designed to deepen and strengthen your practices through frequent and supportive interactions with both peers and teachers. With student-teacher ratios of no more than 15:1, instructors will encourage and mentor you on using proper language and honoring your craft in your sittings while providing you with pastoral care. They will support you in developing a profound connection with the spirit world and offer practical guidance you can immediately incorporate into your mediumship work. The program also fosters a highly personalized collaboration among peers, who engage in mediumship readings with one another to help implement the evidential mediumship tools you’re learning.

Three 90-Minute Theory Class Sessions Per Month With Jean Else (27 Total)
Tuesdays at 9:00am Pacific/5:00pm UK
Jean teaches three class sessions per month, with classes meeting every week of each of the three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) to cover the corresponding units. Suzanne teaches one class session per month (see below). Studying the science and theory of evidential mediumship provides a solid foundation and understanding of how to connect with the spirit world and practice mediumship ethically, while illuminating the profound impact it can have on our lives. Each 90-minute class session includes time for live Q&A with the instructor.

During each month that classes are held, one of your weekly sessions will be with world-renowned medium Suzanne Giesemann. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by Suzanne and learn more specifics about her tested and verified evidence-based approach to mediumship — the process of discovering details only the sitter could know during readings. She will offer her expert guidance, share her reflections and insights about your monthly teachings, and close each of your nine sessions with live Q&A.
Four 90-Minute Mentorship Circles Per Month With an Assigned Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teacher (36 Total)
Mentorship Circles, which meet each week that you have class sessions, include Q&A with Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers. Circles will be scheduled for a wide range of days and times to accommodate varying time zones, levels of experience, and availability.

Digital video recordings will be available for you to stream in high-quality format of each live class session. You’ll never have to worry about missing a session, and you can watch anytime and anywhere at your convenience.

After each reading, you’ll fill out a feedback form to reflect back to the reader how accurate the data was that they picked up.
Part II: Exploring the Spirit World & the Ethics of Communication
Unit 4: Uncovering Death’s Mysteries to Enhance Life’s Journey
In this unit, you’ll:
- Learn what happens when the body dies and the soul and spirit move on, as well as how to develop effective communication

Unit 9: Review Your Progress & Design the Path Forward
In this unit, you’ll:
- Review the “whole medium” and record how you have moved toward achieving it
- Examine the areas of the “whole medium” that will help you with further mediumistic development
- Reflect upon your own learning and practice throughout the year, revisit all the topics covered, and raise any areas that need further explanation or development
- Reflect upon your knowledge and understanding of the spirit world and their needs, as they are your partners on this journey
- Communicate with your guides and inspirers to receive insights into the future
- Reflect upon your experience of journaling and the impact on your development
- Reflect upon the additional input/time/activity you have applied during the year to enhance your delivery, understanding, and learning
- Celebrate your successes and progress and use them to support your forward journey
- Analyze the difference between the mechanical medium and the “whole medium”
- Write a review of your experience in the program this year
- Advance your understanding and practical delivery of private sittings and gallery demonstrations

December Final Project: Review & Reflection
During this final part of the program, you’ll write an essay that captures your personal reflections on your transformational journey through the program.

Q: What is the cost and do you offer payment plans?
A: The investment is $5,000 USD if paid in full (payment plans available). If you apply now with a payment plan, your first payment will be due upon registration, and subsequent payments will be automatically processed every 30 days until complete. The total payment plan price includes a finance charge. Any applicable discounts will be deducted from the total amount at the time of purchase.
The $100 application processing fee, which is included in your purchase, is non-refundable.
Q: Are scholarships available?
A: A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Please submit your application here, and answer “yes” when asked, ”Are you applying for a Scholarship?” You will not be asked to submit payment while your scholarship application is being reviewed.
If you are awarded a scholarship and enroll in the program, your purchase will be non-refundable.
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: The $100 application processing fee is non-refundable.
A refund for the program, minus the application fee, is available for any reason on or before Midnight Pacific on January 14, 2025. Refunds will not be available after this date.

Q: What are the program details and schedule for the training program?
A: All sessions will be held online through Zoom. There will not be any in-person engagement.
The training program starts on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and ends on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Three 90-Minute Theory Class Sessions Per Month With Jean Else (27 Total)
Tuesdays at 9:00am Pacific/5:00pm UK
Jean teaches three class sessions per month, with classes meeting every week of each of the three learning cycles (Parts I, II, and III) to cover the corresponding units. Suzanne teaches one class session per month (see below). Studying the science and theory of evidential mediumship provides a solid foundation and understanding of how to connect with the spirit world and practice mediumship ethically, while illuminating the profound impact it can have on our lives. Each 90-minute class session includes time for live Q&A with the instructor.

During each month that classes are held, one of your weekly sessions will be with world-renowned medium Suzanne Giesemann. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by Suzanne and learn more specifics about her tested and verified evidence-based approach to mediumship — the process of discovering details only the sitter could know during readings. She will offer her expert guidance, share her reflections and insights about your monthly teachings, and close each of your nine sessions with live Q&A.
Four 90-Minute Mentorship Circles Per Month With Assigned Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers (36 Total)
Mentorship Circles, which meet each week that you have class sessions, include Q&A with Mavis Pittilla-Authorized Teachers. Circles will be scheduled for a wide range of days and times to accommodate varying time zones, levels of experience, and availability.
