Immerse yourself in the wisdom and practice of Daisy Lee’s signature program, Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong, to improve healing, balance, and immunity.

Learn how you can step forward and be certified to serve on the front lines — supporting women’s self-care and wellbeing, and empowering yourself and others with this dynamic health and longevity practice.

Our many emotions, including our most stressful feelings, are part of living a well-rounded life.

As a result, accumulating blocked emotional energy is also part of nearly everyone’s lived experience.

Yet, for women, the effects of blocked emotional energy often become even more complex. We tend to store emotional energy in the breasts and the uterus — which can eventually lead to dis-ease if not released or properly addressed, says Daisy Lee, the founder and principal teacher of Radiant Lotus Qigong.

By virtue of our physiological and emotional design, women tend to put others before themselves, acting on behalf of the family or tribe so that life can flourish. This selfless mindset, however, can create energy blocks and contractions in the body.

With daily stresses and challenges (both personal and collective) that can sap the life force from our bodies and emotions, the need to be rooted in our own wisdom has never been greater.

Daisy created her signature program, Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong, to release blockages in the meridians, organs, joints, and tissues of the body, enabling women’s full life-force energy to move smoothly throughout and radiate into all parts of their lives.

Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong draws on the wisdom of Daisy’s master teachers from China, Tibet, and the West who specialized in women’s health — to empower women in their emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

You’re invited to bring the healing power of Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong into your life — and pass this healing gift along to others.

Join Daisy for a first-of-its-kind certification program and experience the transformational qualities first-hand as you make the Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong practice your own — and become certified to teach it to others.

In this 6-month program, Daisy will guide you to become a Certified Instructor of Radiant Lotus Women's Qigong, Level 1, and a leader in your own community as you support women’s health and wellbeing — empowering them through self-care with this timeless health and longevity practice.

Or, if you don’t have a professional goal in mind, to give yourself the Radiant Lotus Qigong knowledge and wisdom you need to take your personal practice and development to the next level.

You’ll learn the five components of the Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong framework: shaking and cupping, self-massage, acupressure points, Tibetan Sound Healing (TSH), and the elegant Qigong movements that empower your body to flower with incredible grace.

You’ll discover how to guide yourself and others through movements that support detoxification and lymph drainage, improve joint mobility, increase circulation, boost immunity and energy, reduce stress, and help access greater inner peace, balance, and joy.

Daisy was inspired to create Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong as she reflected on the pristine lotus blossom rising up through stagnant, murky waters — a symbol of every person’s ability to overcome their deepest challenges by accepting and letting go of the past and embracing the light within.

The foundation of Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong is a philosophy of compassionate action, positive self-reflection, and leading by example with gentle strength.

Just as the lotus flower rises up from its roots in the mud through the movement of water, Qigong can help you open and blossom while releasing stress, breaking old patterns, and grounding you in your natural grace and presence — allowing your authentic gifts to flourish.

There is no better teacher and mentor for this journey than Daisy, a respected leader in the world of Qigong with nearly 30 years of international training experience.

Her warm and engaging approach to this ancient art and science has made her an immensely popular Shift faculty member. Now she’ll guide you to the next level — for your own development or to teach her signature program in this 6-month certification program.

More About the Certification

What Are the Core Teachings & Benefits of the Certification Program?

Throughout this certification program, you’ll gain the wisdom, skills, and techniques to take your personal development to the next level. You’ll also gain the competencies you need to teach Daisy’s signature program, Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong (RLWQ), to help others attain greater healing, balance, and immunity.

RLWQ is movement medicine that heals and unifies the female body with heart-mind-spirit connection. As Daisy will share, when you create a safe space for your students, there’s a natural opening of the body’s energy and receptivity, creating greater ease in self-healing and all areas of their lives.

Your steadying force as a teacher will become the foundation of Stable Lead Energy, cultivated when you combine Vertical Alignment with Neutral Compassion (VA + NC = SLE) — among the many values you’ll embody as an RLWQ-certified instructor.

You’ll learn how to share practices and wisdom to support your students’ self-care and wellbeing, empowering yourself and others with this dynamic health and longevity practice.

When you participate in the certification program, you’ll emerge with professional-level understanding of:

  • RLWQ’s First Pillar: The fundamental “equation” of VA + NC = SLE — Vertical Alignment + Neutral Compassion = Stable Lead Energy
  • RLWQ’s Second Pillar: Shaking and Cupping, to gently help release energy blockages from the channels and tissues, preventing and addressing fibrocystic breasts, cysts, and benign lumps and tumors
  • RLWQ’s Third Pillar: Self-Massage, so you can return to homeostasis and rebalance an overwrought nervous system
  • RLWQ’s Fourth Pillar: Tibetan Sound Healing, uses powerful sounds from Tibet that carry a deep message of healing and renewal for women, who engage their own voices in their healing and help reignite cellular vibration and aliveness
  • The power of the invisible — how to heal with your breath, words, listening, and compassion
  • Techniques to train your mental focus, breath awareness, and find your center (vertical alignment) each day
  • Ways to create a physical and visual environment for optimum receptivity by students, including tips for the use of music, lighting, camera, sound quality, ventilation, and much more
  • Weekly journaling as a form of self-assessment, noting the befores and afters of your practice
  • Practices including RLWQ’s 5 Essential Movement Flow: Vertical Alignment, Showering Qi, Flying Phoenix, Lotus Rises Through the Water, and Kuan Yin Closing Movement
  • Best practices for effective online and in-person teaching, including tips for your practicum submission — a 30-minute, pre-recorded video in which you’ll teach key concepts, practices, and movements, created in one take with no editing
  • How to Feng Shui your physical space for optimum Qi as you teach
  • Daisy’s transformational approach to teaching that engages all the senses, while creating rapport and camaraderie as students discover and share their experiences

Upon completing the 6-month program, you’ll receive a certificate affirming that you’ve been educated and trained as a Certified Instructor of Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong, Level 1 — so you can empower your students through self-care with this timeless health and longevity practice.

The descriptions of the multi-class units further down this page detail the specific and far-reaching content of this program.

Program Details

Daisy and a team of instructional design experts have created one of the most comprehensive learning experiences The Shift Network has ever offered Qigong professionals.

There will be a total of six units, each composed of multiple classes. Daisy will teach a live 90-minute video class every week.

Classes will include a movement practice led by Daisy. You’ll also be guided in learning exercises such as journaling, physical/emotional/spiritual inquiry, self-assessment, and more.

There will also be twelve 75-minute online video integration sessions with Daisy over the course of the certification. As part of the core curriculum, the integration sessions are the perfect time to discuss the material Daisy is teaching so you can put it into practice, and participate in an in-depth Q&A. These sessions provide an opportunity for deeper consultation and conversation about movements and teachings to generate an in-depth, multifaceted understanding of the complex learning in this certification program — in both real-life applications and their energetic dimensions. With live attendance, there will be a 30-minute optional interactive practice session directly following each integration session.

We want you to be well prepared to not only cultivate your own transformative Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong journey, but learn to teach this timeless practice to students.

If you are feeling a resounding call to step forward to support women’s health, self-care, and wellbeing — empowering yourself and others with the practices of Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong — we’d love for you to join us.

Join the Livestream — or Stream Later to Watch at Your Convenience

While we hope you’ll attend all the sessions live, you’ll be able to stream recordings of the twenty-two weekly classes, the twelve integration sessions, and the three workshops should you occasionally need to miss one. As you’ll discover, your live attendance is integral to your learning, understanding, and connection to the community.

Primary Weekly Class Sessions Wednesdays at 1:00pm Pacific

This program will feature LIVE teaching, experiential practices, integration sessions, and Q&A with Daisy — as well as special workshop sessions with guest faculty. Each session will build harmoniously upon the previous ones to help you develop a complete, holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to receive the highest benefit from this comprehensive study.

Curriculum Details for Certification

Unit 1: RLWQ’s First Pillar — The Foundations of Teaching, VA + NC = SLE (September 13 – October 18)

As your journey begins, Daisy will provide an overview of the certification, share why women teachers are so needed right now, answer the most frequently asked questions about RLWQ — and invite you to discover and name your specific vision for teaching RLWQ.

She’ll instill the essential foundations of teaching, explain why you must make time for your own cultivation before you can effectively teach others, and share how knowledge becomes embodied wisdom when you’ve experienced a practice’s benefits for yourself.

Dr. Saida Désilets will teach a guest faculty workshop on healing violation and returning to the aliveness of your essential sensual nature.

Unit 1 features five classes, three integration sessions, and one workshop with guest faculty.

During Unit 1, you’ll explore:

  • RLWQ’s First Pillar: The fundamental “equation” of VA + NC = SLE — Vertical Alignment + Neutral Compassion = Stable Lead Energy
  • The power of the invisible — how to heal with your breath, words, listening, and compassion
  • Techniques to train your mental focus, breath awareness, and find your center (vertical alignment) each day
  • Movement as an encoded messaging system to guide the body back to harmony
  • How creating a safe space honors the student’s body, heart, mind, and spirit so her healing journey can blossom
  • How RLWQ movements help build self-trust and redefine safe, personal boundaries (and why those who have experienced trauma can be confused about boundaries with others)
  • How to shift the lead energy to compassionate, heart-centered leadership, even in our society that has become more "yang" and over-reactive
  • The power of neutral compassion to prevent Qi leaks in the middle dantien
  • How to cultivate embodied, empowered female leadership with the concept of wu wei — which includes embodying effortless effort, doing without doing, leading without leading, and empowering without claiming power over others
  • The importance of closing a practice full of centered, balanced energy and gratitude

Unit 2: RLWQ’s Second Pillar — Shaking, Tapping & Cupping (October 25 – November 27)

As Daisy shares RLWQ’s Second Pillar — Shaking, Tapping & Cupping — you’ll learn how to bring vigor to the female body and wake up the immune system by releasing spent energy in key areas.

All traditions of Qigong use shaking to invigorate the immune system — but in RLWQ, there’s a special focus on the breasts and reproductive organs, where buried emotions can become stuck.

Daisy will share how women’s monthly hormonal shifts can affect physical, mental, and emotional functioning. When the body is comfortable and the Qi is flowing with ease through the meridians and organs, sudden environmental changes don’t affect us as harshly, and we return to balance and stability more quickly.

Unit 2 features four classes and two integration sessions.

During Unit 2, you’ll explore:

  • Shaking and cupping to gently help release energy blockages from the channels and tissues — preventing and addressing fibrocystic breasts, cysts, and benign lumps and tumors
  • The power of gentleness and micro-movements vs. bigger movements
  • Recognizing a detox or Herxheimer response
  • The “pecking” hand — stimulating and signaling the body at key acupoints for strength and vigor
  • Quick and easy ways to free up energy in the body that require regular practice to be most effective
  • The “911” emergency acupressure points to address fainting
  • Reigniting sexual vitality and recharging essence
  • BRFWA — Breathe, Relax, Feel, Watch, and Acknowledge
  • VA + NC = SLE — and how to use this helpful formula when plans become derailed or agitations arise
  • Practices including shaking and cupping, hand cupping, EFT tapping for specific issues, pressing (holding acupressure points to support the release of blocked energy from the meridians), a gratitude meditation, the "Quickie" 3 Thumps (Head, Thymus, and Kidneys), and breath awareness to create spaciousness around a blockage

Unit 3: RLWQ’s Third Pillar — Self-Massage (November 29 – December 20)

As natural as a loving mother comforting her baby, touch soothes and heals when you carry this intention.

As Daisy introduces you to RLWQ’s Third Pillar, Self-Massage, you’ll learn how to return to homeostasis and rebalance an overwrought nervous system.

By moving your own healing hands through the energy pathways and different areas of your own body, you can attune to your body’s needs with greater awareness, noticing where more attention may be needed.

In her guest faculty workshop, “Shiatsu for Women’s Optimum Health,” Nini Melvin will share a teaching on meridian therapy and key shiatsu points for women’s health.

Unit 3 features three classes, one integration session, and one workshop with guest faculty.

During Unit 3, you’ll explore:

  •

  • Hand techniques you can customize depending on your (or your students’) physical and emotional state
  • The relaxation response, and its benefits to women and their families
  • Ways to vary the pacing and rhythm in touch for optimal soothing effects
  • How to reduce inflammation over a painful area or increase energy to a depleted part of the body
  • The importance of lymph massage for women
  • Lymph drainage techniques for colds, flus, allergies — and more serious issues like cancer
  • Dry skin-brushing for improving circulation and reducing cellulite
  • Bounding or rebounding for full-body lymph support, with emphasis on the lymph in the feet and legs
  • Vigorous techniques for enhanced release of muscle tension
  • Practices include: Squeezing and Rolling (using circular motions for deeper touch and tension release), Star Pattern for stubborn blockages, Chopping with Sword Fingers to break up blocked Qi over an inflamed area, and Pullbacks to invigorate the liver and stomach channels

Unit 4: RLWQ’s Fourth Pillar — Tibetan Sound Healing (January 10 – January 29, 2024)

In Qigong, sound-healing practices help break down blocked energy in the tissues, bones, and blood. This healing wave is activated and empowered by your own voice.

Daisy will walk you through the essential foundations of RLWQ’s Fourth Pillar, Tibetan Sound Healing. These powerful sounds from Tibet carry a deep message of healing and renewal for women — who engage their own voices in their healing and help reignite cellular vibration and aliveness.

This sound-healing practice is different from the Chinese system of six sounds which are used by both men and women. It’s specific to women’s health and supports the clearing of blocked energy in key areas of a woman’s body, helping to dissipate emotional stress.

A beautiful singing voice is not necessary. You’ll learn how to simply encourage women to open to the healing possibilities in the expression of their authentic voices.

Unit 4 features three classes and two integration sessions.

During Unit 4, you’ll learn how to teach the practices of Tibetan Sound Healing, including:

  • The ONG sound to support vibrations to the upper body, from the torso up through the head, including the heart, lungs, shoulders, neck and head, releasing blocked energy like the rays of the sun
  • The AH sound, a descending sound that supports the health of the lower body, from the lower ribs, in the womb, and through both legs
  • The LU sound to vibrate the thymus gland and circulates vibration around the breasts and chest in a fountain shape
  • The MEE sound to vibrate the lymph glands in the axillary and circulate inwards around the breasts in a circular pattern going inwards
  • The BAH sound starts at the left breast and moves in a yin yang pattern over the torso, as if lighting up the key sectors in a woman’s body to support hormone balance
  • The YEE sound, beginning at the right breast and moves in the reverse yin yang pattern, creating balance for the body and hormones of the right side
  • A "silent sound" and movement to add at the end of any TSH practice

Unit 5: Self-Cultivation, Rejuvenation & Longevity Techniques (January 31 – February 14, 2024)

Teaching is interactive when it’s at its best. Daisy isn’t here to teach at students, but to listen and tune in to their hearts and minds, engaging in mutual learning. When we listen to, observe, and sense what shows up in the room, we can more deeply meet the needs that are present. Students feel heard, yet we don't need to try and fix everything for them, reminding them of the tools and processes that are there to support them. We are guides on the healing journey, and to that end, our own continued self-cultivation is invaluable.

In this unit, we will explore what keeps you inspired as a teacher. What will support you in bringing freshness each time you teach? You don’t need to change what you teach, but as you continue on this path, how you teach may change... layers of nuance may appear that weren’t apparent before. That is because you have continued to learn and grow through your own exploration and life experiences that may add a sidebar to your teaching. Your continued learning supports your students’ learning. You have an equal opportunity to share "beginner's mind" and to learn patience, perseverance, and, at times, playfulness.

Adriana Ayales will teach a guest workshop, sharing her extensive knowledge of herbalism and Indigenous medicine to complement your study of Radiant Lotus Qigong.

Unit 5 features two classes, one integration session, and one workshop with guest faculty.

During Unit 5, you’ll explore:

  • Madame Wang’s prescription to strengthen the pelvic floor (it’s better than Kegels)
  • Emotional Release Technique, a modern version of ancient Chinese tapping techniques
  • Wuji Hundun Qigong for healing breasts after surgery or radiation, including tips for helpful food and herbs
  • Practices including Dragon Pearl Movement and the Double Breath Technique to increase blood oxygen levels, support the lymph system, and relieve stress
  • Women’s Retreat Day — a special class Daisy will design after tuning in to the group’s energy to support you as you integrate and reset to prepare for the final unit. (Plus... it’s Galentine’s Day!)

Unit 6: Practicum Preparation (February 21 – March 20, 2024)

What makes a good teacher? How can you create effective learning environments for your students?

In this final unit, Daisy will share best practices for effective online and in-person teaching, including tips for your practicum submission — a 30-minute pre-recorded video in which you’ll teach key concepts, practices, and movements, created in one take with no editing.

She’ll share how you can Feng Shui your physical space for optimum Qi as you teach.

You’ll explore Daisy’s transformational approach to teaching that engages all the senses while creating rapport and camaraderie as students discover and share their experiences.

Unit 6 features five classes and two integration sessions — plus a final “Where do we go from here?” integration session.

During Unit 6, you’ll explore:

  • Creating a physical and visual environment for optimum receptivity by students — including tips for the use of music, lighting, camera, sound quality, ventilation, and much more
  • Honing your listening and observation skills to support deepening without "fixing" (as Daisy will explain, Qigong does the fixing as you allow the tools of your practice to do the work, setting aside your ego)
  • Responding to tricky questions, including how to respond when you don't know the answer
  • How to respond when a student demands attention and destabilizes other students, whether it’s in person or online
  • Adapting your teaching to special audiences, including those with physical limitations or learning differences
  • Essential lessons you can learn from your students
  • When to adjust your language to respect the experience of a particular audience
  • The use of voice, rhythm, timing, energy, building in breath, and pausing for poise
  • Using humor and lightness, if it comes naturally
  • How to help students retain information by fostering self-discovery and guiding their experience
  • Building trust with students through deep listening and thoughtful responding

More Praise for Daisy Lee...

“I’ve been helped with dealing with the emotions of grief...”

Daisy Lee is an awesome Qigong teacher. Since taking her classes, I’ve been helped with dealing with the emotions of grief, and my overall health has benefited from practicing Qigong. I am very grateful to have Daisy come and teach us.
— Lupita Poppler, environmentalist and artist

“I am reminded of the joy of being...”

The sessions with Daisy have been extraordinary. Her explanations about the movements, their functions, and the interplay of energy, mind, emotions, and body are many. Her voice has a full, warm resonance that sounds like music and helps me feel the flow. I am reminded of the joy of being... the wonderful miracle of existence.
— Leinani Springer, opera singer, Kauai, Hawaii

“I have lost 10 pounds and stopped drinking alcohol.”

By the end of [my first Qigong class], I knew I’d found the pathway I’d been looking for. I practice (play) Qigong twice daily. The benefits of my practice have been immediate and very profound. I have lost 10 pounds and stopped drinking alcohol. More importantly, I now also have a way to wake up my body and mind when I feel stuck, sluggish, or simply tired. I know that by incorporating this practice into my daily life, I have added quality to my life and probably years to it as well. I am forever grateful for this awakening.
— E. LaSota, wedding videographer

“I can notice a difference in myself and how profound this work is.”

I have been doing Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong every day since I got back from China and love it. I had a lump on the side of my left chest that was a good size. It is now gone. Also, I can notice a difference in myself and how profound this work is. I have so many patients I know I can help by teaching them the tools of this type of Qigong. This is some amazing work!
— Cynthia Abbott, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, Ontario, Canada

“I have not used my cane to walk since the workshop...”

In my younger years, I was a 6-time world champion in kickboxing and combat fighting, but about five years ago my life changed after a bad accident on a motorcycle. For years I have been in pain, dealing with issues around my back, hips, and knees — so much so that I needed to use a cane just to walk. After just three hours at Daisy’s Qigong seminar, I was amazed how the movements and energy began to relax my body and release pain that was chronically affecting me. I see now how Qi or energy can be utilized to heal and strengthen the body, organs, and the mind. I have been consistent in using the techniques Daisy taught me in class, and through her DVDs I can continue to learn and understand how to heal myself along with those around me. I have not used my cane to walk since the workshop, and am so very grateful to Daisy for teaching here in Colorado.
— Clarence Thatch, 3D Martial Arts, Colorado
