Laura Inserra is a sound alchemist. She lives and creates at the confluence of music, wisdom schools, and leading-edge technology. Both a self-taught and classically trained musician, her career has had many facets — multi-instrumentalist, composer, music teacher, sound therapist, and producer.
She grew up on the volcanic island of Sicily and has been exploring the powerful world of sound since her youngest years. A world-renowned Hang musician, Laura plays a large variety of unique ancient and modern instruments and combines them with wisdom practices to facilitate self-exploration and holistic healing.
She uses music as meaningful entertainment, as a boost for intuition, as a facilitator for creativity, as guidance for group retreats, as medicine for inner transformation, as a tool for healing, and as a medium to connect to the intelligence of the body.
Combining her intimate knowledge of music with her studies of ancient schools of wisdom, she developed a practice called Resonant Healing, a holistic approach to personal development and wellbeing.
Her teachings are known as MetaMusic. Meta means beyond, transcendent. In this context, music becomes an experiential, functional metaphor for life. MetaMusic is a school for sound healing, a compass to navigate life, and a tool for self-inquiry, spiritual guidance, and holistic healing.
Laura is co-founder of Seeds of Gold Institute, whose mission is to research and integrate ancient technology and schools of wisdom into modern life.
